I'm joining with Sami and her links to all over the world for Monday Mural.
Our Friend in Japan came across these murals on garage doors as she is on holidays. Rather impressive methinks. They look rather Russian, don't you think? Don't mention the war.
What amazing things to find on garage doors. And yes, they do look Russian.
ReplyDeleteEC, I didn't realise how good they are until after I published them.
DeleteWow! I like those.
ReplyDeleteThanks Darla.
DeleteImpressive fountains. On garage doors yet. Wow.
ReplyDeleteXO
WWW
WWW, probably a real scene.
DeleteSomeone went to a lot of trouble to decorate garage doors. The images are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteYou've been there Hels. Are the buildings recognisable to you?
DeleteWow, they are impressive! If I had a garage I might have a mural painted on it too. By a professional of course. Maybe Hogwarts or the entrance to Platform 9 3/4
ReplyDeleteRiver, I love the idea of Platform of 9 3/4 being on a garage door.
DeleteGarage doors were traditionally painted showing the back end of a Ferrari or Royce; things have advanced I see.
ReplyDeleteCro, should the Magon Royce be featured on a garage door?
DeleteExcellent, they do look lovely.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, they are surely works of art.
DeleteDid you notice how much fine) detail is in the lower one? I thought it was an ice rink in the foreground but it’s more like a square or quadrangle with buildings only at the back. Tea for two anyone?
ReplyDeleteMe look properly at photos Cathy? Most unlikely. A square for people to gather?
DeleteWhat war? Good to see Paul McCartney waving a Ukrainian flag at Glastonbury.
ReplyDeleteDid he YP? That's great. His performance at Glastonbury was reported here today.
DeleteStunning murals Andrew! Wow, they deserve better than garage doors. Thanks for participating in Monday Murals.
ReplyDeleteSami, yes I thought they were rather special. Thanks.
DeleteGreat images, sad what is happening.
ReplyDeleteSad is a bit of an understatement TP. Real people, average citizens, dead.
DeleteAt first I thought they were stenciled on, but now I am not so sure. They are certainly well done. If only I had a better feeling about the subject matter.
ReplyDeleteB & E, I expect these were painted before this year's event. I never thought of them being stencilled.
DeleteThose murals are truly amazing. Can't believe they are on garage doors. Gigi hawaii
ReplyDeleteThanks Gigi. I was impressed.
DeleteFabulous garage doors. Wow.
ReplyDeletePretty good aren't they Pat. Thanks.
DeleteOh wow! A lot of work has gone into these garage door murals. Beautiful indeed!!
ReplyDeleteDee, they are indeed quite beautiful. Thanks for your comment.
DeleteAmazing murals. I think they are places in St Petersburg, the Church of Spilled Blood and the Peterhof Palace
ReplyDeleteThanks Marie. I was sure I had seen photos of them before.
DeleteI was just going to same the same thing as Fun60!
ReplyDeleteTwo clever people can't be wrong then Jackie.
DeleteDefinitely Russian! Looks like they had to shorten the spire on the second one to fit it all on the door. The perspective is a little weird.
