EC, just a lazy cop out actually. It is infuriating that hugely profitable international companies don't pay tax or pay minimal tax in Australia.

DeleteDenmark is also good. EVERYBODY pays about 50% of their earnings in taxes, but EVERYTHING is free, education, health care, childcare, everything.

DeleteI'm always hearing those Scandinavian countries have high suicide rates, meant as a warning by right-wingers about the dangers of copying their ways. Yet when I clicked on your link, it said Norway at least had the happiest people. That sounds more like it to me.
