Too much to do. Will do better tomorrow. Norway it seems is good.
And a comment on the post was, And Norway make Corporations and Rich PPL PAY their FUCKEN TAXES
I hope your other stuff is good other stuff. And hooray for any country which makes the rich pay taxes - instead of lowering their dues.
EC, just a lazy cop out actually. It is infuriating that hugely profitable international companies don't pay tax or pay minimal tax in Australia.
Hope your busy day went smoothly.Good on Norway.
All good Sandra. Got some stuffs done.
Denmark is also good. EVERYBODY pays about 50% of their earnings in taxes, but EVERYTHING is free, education, health care, childcare, everything.
River, that is a lot of tax, but if all services etc are free, what price can you put on that.
I read the book "A Year of Living Danishly" by Helen Russell and at the time it was written Denmark had been ranked as the happiest country.
I'm always hearing those Scandinavian countries have high suicide rates, meant as a warning by right-wingers about the dangers of copying their ways. Yet when I clicked on your link, it said Norway at least had the happiest people. That sounds more like it to me.
Kirk, I have heard about high suicide rates among Scandinavians but I've never looked at the figures. I wasn't aware of the right winger warnings. Interesting.
Well I did nothing today....except made the bed and READ!Lots to do tomorrow though so won’t be blogging
Cathy, surely you made dinner too. See you Friday then hon.
I use to tell my father than congress needed to raise his taxes (and mine for that matter.)
Travel, people my age can remember what happened in California when Governor Reagan cut taxes to the bone.
I laughed at the guy who commented: "ANNNNDDDDDDDD BLONDES."
Steve, funny when everyone was being so serious.
