Friday Funny

Good to see President Biden undoing some of the bad things #45 had done and doing some things #45 should have done. As for #45, let the Divine Miss M, Bette Midler, have the last word as he fades into history as a very bad dream.

  1. YES.
Though I am not certain he COULD write a memoir. I suspect signing his name is the extent of his writing skills.

    1. Quite possibly EC, but I suppose he could use a ghost writer and not tell anyone. What? He would lie?

    1. Marie, I like to think of him as a just caught fish flapping around in a boat. It must stop eventually.

    2. He'll emerge again if Biden fails to deliver. If Biden delivers, dealing with the economy and the health emergency, people won't care any more about Donald J Trump. At the heart of everyone's concerns is health, heart, and hip pocket.

    3. James, heart, health and hip pocket are probably the same world over. I think his future is how the lunatic right are reigned in or not.

  3. I hope when we next have a election the rest of the world hears as much about it as we did this one, I still confused why they think we are interested.

    1. Merle, that is my usual rant about American elections but this one interested me because the bad man lost.

  8. My grandson danced around the house as he got ready. He'd made up a poem that tickled him greatly. "Trumpty Dumpty stuck on his wall, trumpty dumpty had a great fall....:

  9. Oh yes! The world is a better place without #45 in the any kind of official role. Bette Midler is divine 😉

  11. Midler does an amazing rendition on this parody. Great to see the snivelling weasel gone with his tail between his legs. But I fear we have not heard the last of him or his ignorant followers. Did you see his reception on landing in Florida?

I thought the inauguration was a very classy fun affair.

Re your comment on my post:
I agree, Andrew, Olive does sound boring and weird. I think the Devil Dog is a play on her understanding someone speaking tongues as a devil. This article talks about her Palindromic Church of God hence the her name GOD - DOG.

PS there is a Finnish rock band called Devil Dog Road.

  12. I don't think it's the last of him and his rabid followers who will enshrine him. And I so want not to be correct in my prediction he and his crime family will get away away with everything.

    And yes, I love Bette.
