Isn't this so nice. I wonder if it has grown since I took the photo. Busy day Friday with weekly shopping. R goes to Aldi and I go Dan Murphy's and Woolworths so we don't break rules about shopping together. We have coffee together and buy some food to take home. I think tomorrow it will be the famous South Melbourne Market dim sims. The new washing machine will arrive but maybe I will get out for an ISO walk in the afternoon and see if the spoons have grown.

ReplyDeleteCheers
I did Padre. Two in fact. Maybe they were SM Market dim sims at the GP. They are sold elsewhere.
DeleteSmiling at the spoons. And reminded again about the analogy of spoons and energy. Someone has given up a lot of theirs.
ReplyDeleteI like the clever way you and R have adapted to the one shopper rules. Enjoy your day - and your dim sims.
EC, the day didn't quite turn out how we wanted. I stayed home for the delivery and R went shopping and brought the dim sims home. We went out for a walk to a cafe for must have coffee just as it stared to rain, so turned back.
DeleteAh Spoonville ‘took over’ from the rainbow paintings and the teddies for reassurance. I’ve not seen any out our way...yet.
ReplyDeleteOn a sadder note I read that there is seemingly now a shortage of wooden spoons to buy because of s/ville.
The Golfer dislikes shopping....except in places like NQR and SPC....where he can see and sometimes buy all the junky stuff I don’t pick up.
Cathy, I think I may add to the wooden spoon shortage and put one there. The ah........... kind of plastic but can withstand heat, spoons are pretty good. Silicone I think.
DeleteI love the spoons garden and would like to see another photo if it has grown.
ReplyDeleteRiver, I will be there at the weekend or if not Monday and check.
DeleteThe tall one on the right looks like Hitler.
ReplyDeleteCro, the one with the blue moustache, as opposed to Hitler's dyed black moustache.
DeleteVery cute spoon people sitting so nicely together. Grocery shopping day for us too.
ReplyDeleteCheryl, for lockdowns, it is something we look forward to each week. I've never minded food shopping.
DeleteThat certainly is that spoon garden, haven't see one of those before.
ReplyDeleteHope you machine arrived and is installed and working well.
Margaret, the machine delivery and installation was seamless. It is what I expected and I knew about the issues with a two in one in advance. More later.
DeleteWhat a great idea! I'm glad so many people appear to have participated -- some quite artistically!
ReplyDeleteSteve, I wonder if R would notice a disappearing wooden spoon from the drawer?
DeleteCute art project, you could add one or two.
ReplyDeleteTravel, see comment to Steve above. Maybe I should ask niece Jo for spoon decoration ideas?
DeleteI'm sure R wouldn't notice a missing wooden spoon Andrew, you could replace it with a brand new one 😎 I love the way you have your ISO shopping organised, apart but together 💙
ReplyDeleteGrace, there is huge shortage of wooden spoons as people plant them in parks and cook at home.
DeleteI see a few forks. Nice that the spoon garden is inclusive.
ReplyDeleteKirk, but knives are excluded. They just aren't a good fit.
DeleteYou have inspired me. I should buy dim sum, too.
ReplyDeleteGigi, I wonder if yours are like ours.
