A serious post with the opportunity to insert a photo of a hot young man wearing Aussiebum swimwear.
Aussiebum founder and owner Sean Ashbury's company sales now exceed $150 million and that was three years ago. I am sure the figure is higher now.
While the garments are manufactured in many countries, the designs and company control remain firmly Sydney rooted.
Now, I have heard of bra fitting specialists. Is there a part time job for a retired person as male underwear fitting specialist?

I do wish that the seamstressses (and they are almost all women I believe) were paid a living wage though - whatever their country. Yet another cases of profits for the company being increased by screwing over the workers.
ReplyDeleteEC, we could have factories in third world countries where workers have decent working conditions and pay. We must be prepared to pay more for goods. Clothing is absurdly cheap or in some cases absurdly expensive.
DeleteIt's best that I don't type what I'm thinking....
ReplyDeleteI won't ask then Lee.
DeleteI love men and women for their intellect and personalty :)
ReplyDeleteHels, it pains me when people have both and are nice looking too.
DeleteWell, here is my truth on swimsuits! I just ordered a new one! My old one is too big and I literally swim in it!
ReplyDeleteStay tuned Andrew I may send you a picture when it arrives! LOL!
Maribeth, don't frighten the horses. You probably won't get use from it this year.
DeleteIs that a banana in his pocket, or was he just pleased to see you!
ReplyDeleteCro, just a fabric fold.
DeleteBloody hell - that can’t be real. Looks like a codpiece from days gone by.
ReplyDeleteDoes rather Cathy. Perhaps not the company's most stylish garment.
DeleteI have never even heard of Aussiebum. By the look of that male model, I'd say there is a dire need for a male underwear fitting specialist. We all know there is a 'package' but it should never be that obvious.
ReplyDeleteRiver, what's the poor lad to do if it is too big to be hidden discretely?
DeleteOne must tuck into position so it is less obvious or wear a swimsuit with an inner panel to help smooth "the view".
DeleteMost men should wear better underwear. The routine things in life need not be cheap or uncomfortable.
ReplyDeleteTravel, I wear nice enough underwear that fits well. But I loath boxers. I like support.
DeleteTrust me, going for a bra fitting by a 70 year old woman, is no thrill.
ReplyDeleteTake your word for it hon.
DeleteNever heard of that name. The bathers are nice and the man in them is not too bad either.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, they are better known in other parts of the world.
DeleteI certainly know that brand name and have seen many (many many many) pics of fit lads in Aussiebums. I guess it's a gay thing!
ReplyDeleteSteve, they do seem very popular with gay men
DeleteNever heard of this brand ! I am not very much interested in male underwear, lol ! Some women still sew but as a hobby ! Fortunately I have 3 friends who love t sew so if I have anything to repair, I have 3 little helpers !
ReplyDeleteGattina, you do know some very useful people.
DeleteI'm not familiar with that brand. I like the name:)
ReplyDeleteYOU have a great one.
Thanks Sandra.
DeleteThe swim wear for men is awesome. And that man must have had a wax job, because he has no hair on his chest.
ReplyDeleteGigi, while you are probably right, I don't have hair on my chest.
DeleteVery nice looking, um, swimsuit there, young man.
ReplyDeleteStrayer, regardless of anything else, he is nice looking.
