Monday Mural

Joining Sami and others for Monday Mural.

I came across this photo I took some time ago and I thought it might be ok for as a mural post. I have no idea what it is about and whether it is a mural or something commercial. But I had forgotten where I took the photo. Last week I was walking down Chapel Street from Toorak Road to Commercial Road, and there it was, above shops on the western side of the street. It is kind of interesting.

  1. It is interesting. The longer I looked at an embiggened version the more I saw. Such an interesting juxtaposition of subjects too.

  2. Thanks. I must go and have a hunt around. After all, this is where our specialist shops and medicos are.

  4. I like that one; it seems to have no main subject matter, like looking into a box of licorice allsorts.

  5. It looks a little theatrical with all the hats and boots, but then there are the birds and butterflies too and one dragonfly. I like it.

  8. What a unique kind of mural. It's fun to look at all the different types of each item. If you find out more, I for one would be interested in hearing about it.
