Ta ta

See you all in a couple of weeks, unless this happens.

In my absence you can read a little of what I have written in the past. Not all posts about New Zealand are here.

This first one is not really about New Zealand, but I really like what I wrote.

To Australia's shame when a young HIV+ girl was ostracised in her own country town.

A couple of great train journeys in New Zealand.

I had totally forgotten about this, the promiscuous NZ women.

New Zealand's capital city Wellington lost its electric trolley buses just a year or so ago.

Amusing bus destination in Dunedin, South Island.

The steepest street in the world, aka a fun roll of Jaffas.

A moving letter about renewal post the 2011 Christchurch earthquake.

A strange NZ bird with a rather humorous Stephen Fry video clip.

A memory of our last visit to New Zealand perhaps in 1982 or 1983.

  1. Enjoy yourself, Andrew..have a wonderful time...and make the most of every moment. Don't forget your life-jacket! :)

Our neighbours across The Ditch are a friendly welcoming mob...and very fond of a good time. :)

Have a fabulous trip, you have chosen a lovely carefree way to see beautiful NZ. Bon Voyage!

  3. My eyes lit up at the sight of the Great Train Journeys post, so I went back to 2009 to have a look. Even that far back, I had thought the NZ train trips had been excellent :)

  4. Bye-Bye, Bon Voyage, Happy Travels, don't forget us penniless minions who rely on you to show us the world.

  5. For goodness sake don't miss the boat Andrew, but if you do can we see the video 😀😀 happy travels 💙

  6. Have a wonderful trip and enjoy everything! We actually had two women miss the boat as we sailed off. They had to hire a tug to bring them out! LOL!

  7. Enjoy your cruise and New Zealand Andrew.

  8. Have a nice trip and enjoy everything you see ! Must be a beautiful country, but sooooo far away for me !

  9. Waving white handkerchief Farewell Farewell.

  10. I hope you are nowhere near Christchurch today. I hope you are ok.
