If the cap fits.....

BAD is all at sea for a couple of days.

Pam Ayres is quite brilliant.

This reminds me a bit of myself when I was in a House of Mirrors last year. A snip from what I wrote back then: At one point this stupid old bloke right in front of me would not get out of my way. Why do they let in stupid old men like him? Ahh, that is my own reflection.

  1. I hope BAD is having a ball, and comes back with lots of stories for you.
Years back we were filming a short piece. My queue to speak was when the camera focussed on me. I missed it. I didn't recognise the silly bint.

  2. Pam did a very funny Radio series called 'Ayres on the air'. If you get the chance (or have the time) it's worth listening to.

  4. Very funny poem, she's brilliant! Sometimes I look in the mirror and think: "that can't be me, I don't have all those wrinkles! I certainly feel a lot younger than I look".

    1. Sami, of anyone I know, you are the last person who should worry about ageing. I can guess your age, and you have nothing to worry about.

    2. Well, that is unless you have photoshopped your photos.

    3. No photoshop, lol, you just can't see the wrinkles in the photos, but they are there, lol.

    4. Ok Sami. Accept you are wrinkled old woman with a face like that who smokes 50 Dunhill a day and drinks a bottle of gin each day.

    1. Grace, I think she has modified her accent a bit over the years. I think it was a bit broader in her early days. I like it now.

    1. Jackie, I know it, but most Australians probably wouldn't and it is not used here.
