Musical Monday

I love the eighties. I have showed this clip before but it was a few years ago. I just so much enjoyed seeing it again but I cannot decide which clip I prefer, so here are both to take your pick from, or if you are a glutton, watch both.

Divine died in his sleep as a result of an enlarged heart in 1988 at the age of 42.

  3. DIVINE was divine.
Andy Warhol thought so, that's good enough for me.

  4. A similar death to that of Elvis by the sounds of it. Elvis had an enlarged heart and liver....and colon, apparently. Perchance, late last night I caught half of the TV show "Autopsy"; a show I don't usually watch. Last night's episode happened to be about Elvis' death, so it captured my attention immediately.

    1. Lee, that's interesting but who is Elvis? Kidding. In the case of Elvis it is a wonder such problems weren't picked up and dealt with. Maybe he didn't like doctors.

    2. It was very interesting...the programme...a lot was told in it that I'd not known previously.

  6. I watched both clips, love those dresses. I don't know that I've heard this before, it seems vaguely familiar, anyway, I like it. What a shame he died so young.

    1. River, perhaps you remember it from when I last posted it a few years ago. I thought the lyrics were quite good and certainly easy to understand.

    1. MfL, I expect he would have gone on the do some really good things behind the scenes, rather than performing. Not that he wasn't good on stage. Thanks for the comment.
