I looked her up. In the 1970s she took on the Government about their callous attitudes towards orphaned children of other nationalities. And won. After already winning a fight to re-enter Australia with her two children. She had married and subsequently divorced a Thai national and our country decided by marrying him she had relinquished her Australian citizenship.Sigh. The more things change. We need more Elaine Moirs.
