We didn't (thankfully) get as hot as you, but we are still on 29 at around 7.30. Cool change predicted, and I so hope we get it. Lifeline commitments will have me up until v late so I hope to be comfortable. At the moment I am not.
That's a nice looking little gadget. I have a big plastic Cheap as Chips thermometer blu-tacked to the wall. Does the job and was only $3. It's cooler here now, thank goodness, still sunny, but the wind is no longer hot. My garden took a beating with Tuesday's hot wind.
Big change in temps. today. We're experiencing 30+ (F) degree changes on a daily basis now. Winter is coming....... *sigh*
ReplyDeleteJac, they are quite large temp differences on a daily basis.

ReplyDeleteEC, well it should be nice and cool for you tomorrow. You can't do your volunteer work from home?
DeleteTonight I am working from home. Which is still toooooo hot. Next week I will have to go into town.
DeleteEC, good that you can do that from home. So you are doing admin stuff, rather than answering.
DeleteSupervisory stuff. Sometimes scary supervisory stuff. It is finally cooling down though. A bit.
DeleteAh, yeah, forgot you are a senior person who looks after the tackers.
DeleteIts been a cool week here, with rain and all. Greetings!
ReplyDeleteBlogoratti, rain in England! Who would have thunk that might happen.
Delete:D
DeleteI would celebrate the temp change!
ReplyDeleteI did briefly, until goose bumps appeared on my arms.
DeleteWe had 80 degrees yesterday in Oregon. Allegedly winter is coming.
ReplyDeleteNo rush to get to winter is there Strayer.
DeleteAndrew the last temperature is trhe best for me..
ReplyDeleteGosia, yes, best for me too.
Delete....but Andrew, as well as food, coffee, street art.. isn't the changeable weather what Melbourne is renowned for?
ReplyDeleteGrace, quite true but it is exaggerated. Other places experience the same.
DeleteThis is very true, in the case of Perth anyway!

River, yes, I am sure your garden did take a beating. The temp thing was only about $35 and it is our second one.
DeleteI wasn't ready for the heat just yet. I was glad when the change blew in, though we could do with some rain!
ReplyDeleteYep Fen, we really need a good drop of rain.
