Teaser

A teaser for a future post.

It requires a very local knowledge but does anyone know where this caravan park is located? It is less than hour from the city.

Later edit: If you knew where but the question was answered before you saw the post, feel free to mention it.

  1. I'm assuming 'the city' means Melbourne :) Is it out west - maybe Werribee??

    1. Red, I so did not expect you to get it correct. It's Werribee South, on the bay.

    1. Clever Grace. I've never seen a BP caravan park before.

    1. Victor, a quiet little place and I would not expect you to know.

  4. Needless to say, no idea. The lion on the gate post suggests the original owners had ambition - or a sense of irony.

    1. EC, haha, sense of irony. Isn't it funny when you see a quite modest house with lions at the front.

  5. I cheated by looking up the name via Google - that caravan park is quite off the beaten track!

    1. Marcus, a BP caravan park was picked up by google? It was a tiny puff piece in a newspaper that drew my attention to the beach at Werribee South.

  6. I don't hang around caravan parks so wouldn't recognise any of them anywhere.

    1. River, if I turned back the clock, I could imagine you may have been a lass who hung around caravan parks.

    2. I better qualify that in case you take it the wrong way. Family holiday in relatively cheap accommodation and teenagers did back then what they still do now in caravan parks, hang out with other similarly aged youth.

    1. Hehe Red. I can't see you lolling about tipsy on bourbon and coke and with a fag in your hand and surrounded by noisy kids.
