I've been waiting for someone to do this

Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale
A tale of a fateful trip
That started at this tropic place
Aboard this largish plane.

It is as logical as any explanation for the disappearance of the plane. I was quite fascinated to read in our daily paper an expert analysis about the disappearing plane by the known aviation crash expert, Mayor of London, Boris Johnson.

    1. John, that was yesterday when I read it. I don't have a clue now.

  2. Is there anything which Boris isn't an expert on? And I love the image you have posted - v. clever.

    1. EC, as the information flowed from the news, I just kept thinking of them stranded on an island.

  3. Andrew, Great story but luckily is only a story not a real situation,.

  4. I saw Boris Johnson on Who Do You Think You Are? Most people on that programme find they come from ordinary working families, perhaps convicts or more likely goldminers and labourers who wanted a new start in a new country. But Boris really does come from the nobility! How did he do that????

    1. Hels, I would guess that he would have come from nobility. He is the type who does not care what people think of him, yet I do grant he is clever.

  5. I'm lost on this one. Since I no longer have a TV I have quit caring about what the news is about. At first I thought this irresponsible but then I figured there is nothing I can really do about anything anyway. I gather a plane got lost? No need to answer since I can easily enough look it up. :)

    1. Rubye, even without watching the news, I am astonished you don't know about the missing plane. I am not sure how you could avoid knowing. Interesting to muse over.

  6. Oh, that's clever!
I do wish we could hear some more encouraging news though, the families need to know. How and why especially and are their loved ones safe and will they come home? Alive?

    1. River, I think it is quite ulikely anyone would have survived. We will know in time, but it has been a fascinating, albeit tragic, story to follow.

  7. I believe Channel 9 screened a program last night explaining what happened to the flight. I didn't watch it because I was playing bridge and probably would not have watched even if I had been at home. I hope Channel 9 let Malaysia out of its misery by passing on the solution.

    1. Victor, by Thursday evening, the notion of explaining what happened is quite absurd.

  8. I think Boris would make a wonderful Aussie PM. Maybe I should pass on that info next time I see him.

    1. Boris would HAVE to be better than our present PM *groan*.

Attila the Hun would be better *moan*.

    2. Terribly kind offer Fun60, but I am sure you want ot keep your treasured Boris.

Hels, certainly more amusing. I have always had a theory that born to rule types don't come with chips on their shoulders.
