We went out today. From the photo can anyone guess where we went?
Later edit: It's no surprise that Marcus of the blog Waking up in Geelong knew the photo is the of stairs to the platform bridge at Geelong Railway Station. More about our trip in a few days.
You went up, not down !
ReplyDeleteGattina, we went down these steps.
DeleteSpringvale?
ReplyDeleteNot even close Michael. I think Springvale Station is modern. My step mother's husband's mother was the first station mistress there.
DeleteFootscray?
ReplyDeleteNo, it is modern too now. I think it could have looked like that in the past.
DeleteAn old section of Flinders Street Station?
ReplyDeleteSomeplace old anyway, I haven't seen stairs like those in years.
No River. I was a bit surprised to see them where they were, at a very busy station.
Deleteon a train!
ReplyDeleteNot literally Fen. Have you seen a train like that? Yes, station.
Deletein my dreams, yes!
DeleteNorth Melbourne?
ReplyDeleteNM is all modern now, and quite ugly.
DeleteLooks too bright to be the underworld platforms for the sandy line. NFI.
ReplyDeleteYou are correct FC. Congrats. It is not the Sandy line.
DeleteHaven't a clue but you didn't fall down the stairs.
ReplyDeleteThey are safe with their little yellow things everywhere.
Merle...........
Merle, the steps are very old and nicely worn.
DeleteLooks like the footbridge between the platforms at Geelong (I've been there many a time!)
ReplyDeleteSpot on Marcus. I knew you would know as soon as you saw the photo.
