You've just go to love the sales, makes you wonder what their mark up is? Aimee and I were at the shops today and in one they were touting 80% off..is that the clue haha! P.s. can you explain the last item on your list?
Grace, our Brother Friends worked in menswear retail. I know full well what the mark ups are.
The last one is a shirt, but I did not buy anything duck egg blue. One shirt has a slightly military look, so maybe that is it.
I would read 80% off as what is left, half of 20% to the wholesaler and the remaining 10% to the retailer. To the Bangladeshi worker who made the garment, maybe .025%
Those are some huge savings, nice work!
ReplyDeleteYeah Fen. Did I mention I hate shopping. It was quick and clean.
DeleteHahaha ! that ALWAYS happens to me too !
ReplyDeleteGattina, your are a good shopper too?
Deletewow, the total cost of your purchases is less than the original cost of your shoes, which incidentally, nearly made my eyes fall out of my head.
ReplyDeleteRiver, I did not do the sums, but your are right. The shoes are wonderfully comfortable. I can almost bear paying $100 for shoes.
