They pong when they are past their best don't they?
EC, I really don't know. We don't keep them that long.
Out they go.Merle.........
Merle, they were goned quickly.
Dame Edna wouldn't like it - well maybe 'she' would if they got up her nose!
Haha Cathy. I think Dame Edna likes them fresh.
Go for long lasting flowers: orchids, zinnias and chrysanthamums and carnations. Nothing worse than a droopy appearance after 2 days :(
Quite so Hels. I don't like droopy :-P We buy flowers once a week. Sometimes they last well, sometimes not. We don't want them to last too long.
They do look a bit limp Andrew 😀
Classic Perth, Thanx For Making Me Giggle
Indeed they do, Grace and who wants limp.
She needs no encouragement from you, Padre.
No longer very glad looking.
Strayer, and nor are we.
I don't like indoor flowers of any kind with my hayfever. And...it always seems a bit posh to me to always have fresh flowers. I have plastic indoor greenery.
River, we rarely spend no more than $8 a week on a bunch of usually whatever is seasonal. I would miss them if they were there. They give the place a lift and it interesting to watch them open, reach their prime, then slowly die and you have to make the call.
I like your coffee table!
Maribeth, it is old now and we would like to replace it but it is so hard to get a square one, let alone with drawers. It will probably stay. But thank you.
