Bush Mechanic Ingenuity

What a hoot. I have never seen Bush Mechanics before and it really is a great laugh along with showing very impressive 'repair it on the road' skills. I cracked up at the use of the doll's head. It looks like the lads will make it home and the local copper will probably turn a blind eye if they stay off the main roads and out of towns. This was first broadcast in around 2000 and I am not sure how I missed it at the time.

Note the way they just discard things that are not wanted. But look at what they do with things previously discarded.

  2. I remember watching the bush mechanics, still made me smile today. Just shows how clever the boys were... using the stroller as a drivers seat was brilliant.

    1. Cheryl, that he managed to fit into the stroller was impressive enough. I hope to watch the rest of the five videos in the near future.

  4. Having a spouse is lovely for three important reason:
    1. to have a warm, attractive body in bed at night
    2. to clear all the rubbish bins in the house ever Wed night
    3. to do car repairs.

  5. We once had three cars just parked in our yard. Jack hated to part with his 2 Oldmobiles and a Ford Pick-up truck, even though nothing really worked. (Someday, maybe!) I finally convinced him to call the junker who came and got them. In fact he did take one of the Oldsmobile's and got it running by using parts from the other. The truck was a total goner!

    1. Maribeth, I guess they were the big large Olds' of the much earlier years. They can make a bit of money stripping down old cars.

    1. Sami, yes, I was just playing with not knowing which beer so you had to type it. But then I realised I had set myself up for you to say, Up Yours Andrew.

    1. Thanks River. I did see a better one, but I can't find it now, only in the full half hour version. I may come across it again.
