Sexy older man

Err, I don't know any.........well maybe one. I've never found the actor bloke George Clooney to be so interesting and I am puzzled as to why so many women like him. I have not heard of any gay guy being in love with him, well not like women seem to.

But wait. Here is one older actor who has my interest at the moment. How good is this new ABC TV show. I was prepared to tune out of the new ABC TV show after a few minutes if I did not like it, but we loved Mystery Road.  Aaron Pedersen was  wearing inappropriately tight shirts but manages to do so and look very sexy at the age of 48. I believe this is an ABC released still, with his co-star Judy Davis.

  1. I'm not familiar with that show. Fully agree with you on Clooney. :-)

    Greetings from London.

    1. Cuban, on you wouldn't know the show as it has only just begun here. It may well be exported.

  2. I think the younger Clooney was very attractive and I think he has aged well. He looked good to me at a certain recent wedding.

Sometimes I find that Pedersen looks...a little worse for wear...but when he does look good he looks really good.

  3. George Clooney? Meh.
And yes, Aaron Pedersen does look raunchy in that shot.

    1. EC, raunchy is a good word to describe him.

  4. I LOVE Aaron Pedersen - good looks, intelligent, a carer for his younger brother with cerebral palsy, former ABC journo, - bliss!
    George who?
    Oh, Rosemary Clooney's nephew.

    1. Jayne, I didn't know he was a journo. Your reference to Rosemary Clooney sent me off to you know where. Ha, Mambo Italiano.

    1. John, I suppose you think a certain Australian actor is at the perfect age of 54. Ah, younger than you.

    2. 48 is a youngster! I only encouraged my sons to travel overseas by themselves from their 40th birthday on ha ha

By the way I saw Aaron Pedersen in the first episode and was very impressed by his quiet under-acting.

    3. Hels, well I think your sons knew they had a pretty special mother. Yes, Aaron did either underacted or was very restrained. I was pretty impressed by the show.

  7. If you announce the topic as "older men" I expect you to be talking about men who are older than you, Andrew.

  8. Goodness, not a fan of Gorge Clooney but he's ok.
Aaron is not too bad for part Aboriginal.
Don't know what is old these days..

  9. You classify 48 as OLD? You should be horsewhipped.

  10. I like Aaron Pedersen, his new Mystery Road series, only six episodes long, is preceded by two movies: Goldstone and Mystery Road. I have both and have put off watching the new series until I have all six episodes.

  11. Did you ever watch ER when George Clooney was on it? That would explain a lot of the attraction I suspect.

His characters great love story with the character of Carol was one of the greatest ever seen on television. That and his great friendship with one of the other characters Mark Green played by the deeply gorgeous Anthony Edwards who had a lot of residual love from people after he played Goose in Top Gun. :)

    1. Snoskred, you are quite perceptive and no, I did not watch the show and did not fall in love with Clooney. I Googled Anthony Edwards and I can't see the attraction there either.

    2. Please do not tell me you have never seen Top Gun. How can that be? :)

    3. Snoskred, no. I did hear Cruise interviewed on Melbourne radio when the film was released.

  12. I like George Clooney. Pedersen does little for me; he's okay, but not swoon-worthy as far as I'm concerned. Each to their own, I guess...as in most things.

I'd take Idris Elba over both of them.

  13. Lee, why do you people keep sending me to Google to see people I have no knowledge about! Ah, Luther. I know him. He is ok.

  17. Crikey .... I watched the Royal Wedding with Mum and that Clooney bloke was everywhere with some chick that looked like a canary gone wrong. Mum thought he was smarmy if that's a word. That bloke you like Andrew doesn't appeal to her either. She thinks I'm the best looking bloke in the world. Such good taste my Mum.

  18. I was rather amused to see this show outrated (significantly) the Barnaby Joyce interview, and not there was an internet meme which said "Who would you rather watch on TV tonight - Barnaby or Aaron?"

    1. Indeed James. Only 600k plus. Inspector Barnaby may have rated better. What a brilliant pairing of Pedersen and Davis.
