Sunarise, bring in the mornin'

Three photos taken 07:38 on the 14th of April. Was I playing with camera settings or did the sunrise change so much in one minute? I don't know. I checked the details and two had exposure times of 1/60th and one 1/50th of a second. Everything else was the same. The time on my camera is unreliable, so it may have been 06:38, which sounds more like April sunrise. T'was a rather gorgeous sunrise.

    1. Victor, as I previously said to Grace in Perth, I don't mind getting up early. I just don't like doing anything early.

  5. You have the benefit of height Andrew. Too many trees round here to get such a beautiful view as yours.
Do you remember how the day turned out? Red sky in the morning.....shepherd's warning ....and all that?

    1. Cathy, we have been in an apartment on the second floor. It looked straight out into the foliage of the St Kilda Road trees, rather nice.

  6. A truly spectacular start to the day. Sunrise is usually much more muted here. Galah coloured rather than a blaze.

    1. EC, so galah colouring is muted and soft?

  7. Those of us who are regularly up to witness the daily sunrise, are extremely fortunate. My cheap little Fujifilm pocket camera never does them justice.

    1. Extremely fortunate Cro? I have survived through my 60s without ever seeing the sky from under my doona, before 8 am! But I must admit that the colours are arresting.

    2. Cro, some have really good cameras and produce great photos, but the quality of such photos is usually lost in the world of blog. Stick with you pocket camera.

    3. Hles, you and R would make great mates. Is Joe an early riser?

    1. Lee, I suppose I only notice the good sunrises. Many must be just average.
