Little Jo is a cub

It was interesting to me to skim through this site. Little Jo and Bone Doctor are on a scout like camp. They attended three years ago, I think. Bone Doctor is not there as a doctor but as a cub leader. She has put some serious hard yards into being a cub leader. The numbers at the camp are formidable. Btw, just in case you are not sure, Bone Doctor is my sister's female partner and Little Jo is their daughter.

  1. That was weird Andrew.. when I glanced your title I thought I read 'Little Jo is in the club' double-take WhAT! It is after midnight in Perth 😀😀 Sounds like a fun week, I'm sure they will have heaps of fun but will be exhausted when they get back!

    1. Grace, time flies, but not quite that quickly. Yes, exhausted and happy, I think.

  2. Chuckling at the comment above.
Is there fee relief? Or multi-child discounts? It could get very expensive.

    1. EC, I will ask. I would like to hope that no child should miss out through the lack of money.

  5. When my girls were young only boys were cubs and then scouts, girls had to be Brownies, then Guides. So my older girl joined the Brownies, I made her uniform, she attended two weeks then gave up saying it was just too boring. There was none of the camping etc the cubs and scouts did.

    1. River, I did not know you were a skilled seamstress! Clothing is much more than curtains. After all your work on her uniform, it was a waste of your time. The whole thing has changed now and girls do everything boys do and there is little of the girlie stuff. Bone Doctor would not tolerate that.

  6. Andrew, I used to make some of my own clothes, including maternity smocks, baby and toddler clothes for the kids and school uniforms for the girls.
