Musical Monday

I've probably posted this clip before but no matter. I just love it and what a hunk is Tim Freedman. The first is the official video clip, the second a live performance at The Metro, Sydney. Live is not usually as good as the produced official clip, but in this case, I like it because there is a lot of passion in the live version. The Whitlams with No Aphrodisiac.

This 2012 photo from SMH is the most recent I can find. Tim is holding up well at the age then of 48.

  3. Moody, melancholy and beautiful.
And you are right about Tim. I think he looked better at 48 than his younger self.

  4. Rather a nice song and I remember that song sung by Whitlams. He is holding up well for his age, some just go to the pack.

    1. Margaret, he admits he used to drink a lot too, so it surprising that he has held up so well. I hope your weather is better than ours today.

  6. I've never heard the song before, but it's rather nice. As is Tim, and better at 48 than when younger, there's more character, more living, in his face.

    1. River, I think Tim would readily admit to there being more living in face. I like to see faces of people who have lived well.

    1. Gattina, maybe Tim should pay me for such world wide publicity.

  8. The thoughts and urges and lonely impulsive passion of the young in that song.

    1. Strayer, while it can be good to be young and have such passions, it is lot easier being older and not having them

  9. One of my all-time favourite songs, actually, and I was listening to it yesterday as a matter of fact. I also know Tim personally, and see him often, and can attest he is also a lovely, genuine, smart and funny guy.
