A Victorious Jussie

Yay Jussie. You won. You are now Prime Minister of Canada. You rule the land of rocks and trees............and water, well after our common monarch old Betty. In a resounding victory Justin Trudeau has been elected PM of Canada with his Liberal Party doing much better than ever imagined a few months ago. Good riddance to the Conservative's Stephen Harper.

By now Jussie has probably made the 'I will govern for all Canadians' speech. Not great to see the leftist New Democratic Party lose so many seats. But the Liberals Trudeau leads are far preferable to the losing Conservative Party.

Lest you think I am so shallow as to only be Jussy supporter because I think he is hot, yeah, and your point is?

  1. Quite right to celebrate considering how homophobic Harper is.
This one has his mother's looks not so much father.

  2. Jah Teh, like Kennett, how did Harper last so long in power? How did Howard for that matter. Yes, Jussy has hair. His father did not and I don't remember Pierre as being nice looking at all.

  3. Hopefully he will live up to his (very) decorative promise.

  4. I can think of worse reasons to like a politician... like their hypocritical psychotic spewings encourage one's own.

Nope, wouldn't be referring to Donald Trump AT ALL.

    1. Jac, Trump is the best thing Hilary has going for her. Who is the republican running? Has it been decided? Who cares?

    1. Grace, in some ways his famous father and his nice looks were used as weapons against him. Probably speaks French, you know.

  8. If his ethics are as good as his looks, he could really do something great for Canada.

    1. River, from what I read, he does seem quite decent. There is a nice b&w photo around of his father Pierre carrying the toddler Justin.
