Jewish New Year has come and gone. Though still without a tripod, this is the best night photo of the synagogue I have yet taken when it has been illuminated..
I have never cooked so many meals or washed so many dishes or visited so many friends as over this holiday fortnight. It will be restful to go back to work :)
Hels, my heat bleeds for you. You get christian and jewish holidays. Where are the atheist holidays? Regardless of what you say, I thing Jewish NY must be fun.
There's nought wrong with this shot Andrew, it has a jaunty angle and when you pull it in close there's lots to see. Not a bad view you've got there..I'm guessing this is from your balcony although looking at the header photo it seems to be from a different aspect!!

DeleteGreat pic.
ReplyDeleteThanks Daniel. It is not a bad pic, but I will do better.
DeleteIf you had a tripod your pic wouldn't be tipping off the screen!
ReplyDeleteYes Fen, resting on the balcony rail.
DeleteI like this shot because it has a strong dose of reality as the synagogue sits in the middle of a thriving city.
ReplyDeleteNot quite the middle Rubye, but not far from the centre of town.

ReplyDeleteSame view Grace. I think my header photo was as stitch. I can't remember now. So many nice people helped me to get it right.
