Blog comment change

I have changed the comment page to one with a link where you can read the original text of what I wrote. Is this preferred? Well more, does anyone think it caused a problem?

  1. Hello Andrew:
The old one was fine as far as we are concerned for if we needed to look at the text we simply minimised the comment box. This seems to require going backwards and forwards but others may think differently.

  2. I just had to comment first to see what you mend. It's okay, but I liked the other version better. Just like Jane and Lance say it's going backwards and forwards.

  3. Hi, I am Robert, my daddy died of malnutrition, because he stopped eating but kept drinking.
The change I'd like is no further deletion.

  5. Jury is still out. To the left of the pop up comment box is a link to show the text of the original post. It does not show photos though. The original text pops up above any comments, so you should be able to see what is written, a few early comments and the comment box on one page.

  6. No problems here. I'm happy with whatever comment page is used as long as I can leave a comment.

  7. Well River, I would swear at times comments of mine have been deleted at times for no reason that I know of. But I have also caught me closing a web page before I have actually seen the comment published, or closed before I realised there was a captcha to do as well.

  12. I hadn't noticed but I like the capacity to have the post available on the comments screen.

  13. It won't stop me from commenting, but I don't like it. But that's probably because I tend to read in bursts - ie several blog posts in the one sitting. If I comment, I have to reload the blog to get to the next one, which is a bit of a pain if there's several I want to catch up on.

But hey, I'm probably the only one who does this, so don't change it just for me!!!
