Who would go on holiday to Chernobyl? Isn't it dangerous. Wouldn't you get radiated? Well, a Melbourne chick has gone there and the photos are wonderful and depressing. Take a look Kitten of Doom's
blog and see a part of Russia preserved in time. I've direct linked to one post but you can find the rest.
You might be amazed but it is the premise for a movie - horrifying of course and Blair Witch like - shaky video and all
ReplyDeleteI also have wondered this. I'll have to go take a look at Kitten's blog.
ReplyDeleteBrave (or foolish?) girl. I'm more than happy to see the photos on a blog but NOT ever step into the place myself!
ReplyDeleteReally Michael? I didn't know about that.
ReplyDeleteRadiation tourism Rubye. I suppose it must be safe.
Agree Kath. Why would you take the risk? The government says it is safe? I'm from the government, trust me.
I would never go to Chernobyl. first, I can't speak Chernobese (ha ha Russian), second, I believe it gets very cold there, third, well, there was that awful accident thing....
ReplyDeleteRiver, you are right. Chernobese is a hard language. Yeah, accident there. What was it now? No big deal. How many died?
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome link. Thanks for pointing it out.
ReplyDeleteBeen a while Ren, but I remember you well. Bit creepy hey?
