I love Kopiko but I don't think they are very good for you, so I don't
eat them often. I was given this one at a restaurant instead of an after
dinner mint. Nice.
I love these things! I haven't bought any in years. I discovered these little coffee flavoured caffeine hits way back in the 90's and I once found a shop where I could buy them in plastic jars of 100. I made the mistake of keeping a jar at work and they didn't last long as everyone else thought they were great too. I don't remember why I stopped buying them. @Rubye Jack and anonymous, these are little hard candies containing coffee and tasting yummy.
I have never heard of them, but now I want one desperately!! Why is all the good stuff bad for you!! btw Andrew, I like the sound of your Mum, she sounds like my kind of technophobe haha!!
I think a hundred would only be bad if you ate them all at once. Spread out over weeks is not so bad. I think we still have them here in SA. I'll check around.
I'm not much into coffee but I do love an after dinner mint.....or two
ReplyDeleteIt looks good, whatever it is.
ReplyDeleteI had that in lieu of an after dinner mint at a vietnamese restaurant in Johnstone street recently. It was great.
ReplyDeletemmmm I don't drink coffee but I do like these little lolly things.
ReplyDeleteWhat are they???? V.
ReplyDeleteIsn't Kopiko an Indonesian brand? ^_^

Do you know I've seen them for years and years and never had one.
ReplyDeleteCouldn't trust those Russians....
They are nice too Victor, but not so common now.
ReplyDeleteVery tasty Rubye.
Ad Rad, it must be 'the' thing in restaurants now.
Fen, that's a bit odd.
They are sweet and coffee flavoured hard lollies V.
Immigayrant, I don't know for sure, but I think they are.
River, I wonder if they are as bad as I think. I should find out. I am sure 100 are bad.
Your christmas present sorted V. One Kopiko.
Grace, I don't actually know where you would go to buy them. I just see them around every so often.
Kath, are you suggesting they are Russian? The name does sound a bit Russian.
You're going to make me wait until Christmas??! V.
ReplyDeleteV, I am having trouble sourcing a supply. I am sure it will be sorted by then.

ReplyDeleteRiver, I have an addictive nature. I might eat them very quickly.
ReplyDeleteAsian supermarket shops should stock them.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anon.
ReplyDeleteI have a packet of these in the cupboard - had two today as a matter of fact - they are really nice but packaging a bit hard on the eye teeth.
ReplyDeleteMC, I thought, without checking, that the caffeine level is very high. Take two and begin housework.
ReplyDeletenah not odd, coffee makes my heart palpitate, I love it but it doesn't love me. Those lollies don't have the same effect thankfully.
