R went to a truck show. Don't ask why. Although work related, I just can't see a connection. He came home with a bag of bits, the nicest thing being a water bottle with pretty pictures on it.
Hello Andrew: For some it is a Ferrari, for others a Maserati, for us a BMW and for still others a Ford Transit Van......whatever floats your boat say we with a mixed metaphor!!!
My four year old grandson loves trucks. It's all to do with size and movement.

That's a serious truck!
ReplyDeleteMack?
I love to see well-cared-for polished big rigs rumbling along the streets.
Anyone not a serious rev-head who visits a work-related truck show would be paid penalty rates, would they not?
ReplyDeleteNormal work hours FC. Dunno why he complains so much about his job when he can go trucking in work hours.
ReplyDeleteKeep on truckin' Andrew!
ReplyDeleteI have a bit of a soft spot for a nice big shiny truck. I once rode from QLD to Melb in an interstater with a double cabin & bed in it. Fancy pants!!
ReplyDeleteElisabeth, steer him towards more environmentally sensitive trains then.
ReplyDeleteJayLa, for me it is a Bentley. Rolls Royce is far to 'look at me'.
I don't know River. If I'd known you were fond of trucks, I would have sent the poster to you for your lounge room wall.
Fen, I am not asking any details. You know I am very innocent.
Grace, rather losing interest in trucking as I get older.
ReplyDeleteAre you sure R wasn't more interested in the truckers than the trucks?
ReplyDeleteMaybe Victor. He likes butch guys. He chose me after all.
