A fine musician

Jimmy Little was a fine musician and it is sad to hear he has died. Thirty four albums is astonishing. This is my favourite of Jimmy's and if you know of a better version, then say so.

  1. Hello Andrew:
Sadly we have not known of Jimmy Little before now and so it was of interest to listen to the video clip.

  5. Interesting JayLa? Not your kind of music perhaps, but he was a good man.

    Grace, mellow and smooth.

Kath, not his song I understand, but I listened to some others, and his is the best.

FC, funny, R had not heard the track either, but he, that is me, who never listens to music really, found it quite familiar.

I hadn't heard it either. It seemed like smooth disco to me... V.

  7. I remember his song Royal Telephone from when I was very young, but I couldn't remember who sang it until I heard the mention of Jimmy's death on TV, they mentioned the song then.

  9. I remember when I was just a kid hearing the "Royal Telephone Song" it was played almost daily for a while, on the radio which was always on in our house

  10. V, it does have a good beat.

River, it was a very catchy song.

Windsmoke, if sports people are, then why not.

MC, I may have heard it just a few too many times, but yes, it was good.

Whenever I wish I was young again, I am sobered by memories of algebra.
