Press I did and a mist of water shot out from jets on the side of the bus shelter opposite the Highrise. We knew it was there as from our balcony we had seen people press the button and receive the mist. However, it is amazing the number of people who don't notice the button.

Occurred to me Kath. The wall is thick so maybe the storage is big. Not many seem to push the button either. Imagine a spray of water on a killer hot dry heat Melbourne day.

Stephen, there is summer and there is summer. Although we have had a couple of killer days, so far not too bad here.
I know some homeless locals who would enjoy that as their daily shower.
From what I hear there are some similar devices at Flinders St Station on some platforms.
