Not Linked In

I think I know what Linked In is but I am not linked in and as a non professional type, I can't seeing it being much use to me. So, although I am sure those of you who have sent me invitations did so with the best intentions, kindly, I am not joining. I am linked in here anyway.

  2. I don't see the point of Linked In either. I spend enough time on the computer as it is. I need time for myself to just be me. Being connected 24/7 just doesn't seem right. There's times when I don't even answer my phone.

  3. I'm not on Linked In either, I network in the real world, face to face. Especially for work.

  4. I'm on LinkedIn but don't see what it can do for me, especially since I'm not working and enjoy early retirement for the past 10 years...

Most of the connections, in my case, have to do with my voluntary work. People I mail and talk to on a daily basis. maybe it's time to close the account.

  5. Can't say that I've heard any raving reviews or recommendations for it from the handful of friends who have accounts on it (wonder if they even remember they have them?).

  6. I think I have set it up now so all linked-in messages go straight to spam...

  7. I read somewhere recently that Linked In is the new Facebook and since I hate Facebook, I guess I should also hate Linked In. :-)
