Resident Artist

I bought Little Jo some new paints in tubes. I wasn't home but R instructed her on the use of them. She took no notice and spurted paint everywhere, including over the coffee making table. Must say though, the paint was very vivid and glossy. Come morning the pools of paint had not dried, so the art work had to go.

  1. What type of paint is it that it didn't dry overnight?
I like that picture with the blue and yellow dots, also the one on the bottom right, although I can't say why. It just appeals to me.

  2. Little Jo should do an exhibition in New York like that other little aussie girl. They'll pay big money for this!

  3. River, all I cared was that it was water soluble. The bottom right one was the one that did not dry because it was just a huge puddle of paint.

You heard about that Ad Rad. Hope I did not throw a masterpiece out.

  5. Sorry to say it, but I like the bottom right one too.

I love children's art work. Our whole upstairs is pretty much covered in Jack's work. He doesn't paint much though.

  6. IWBY, we have a couple of her works framed. That is enough. Maybe I should have left the one to dry.

Dina, did you get encouragement to be artistic when you were a kid? I never did.

  7. Keep the bigger ones and use them as wrapping paper for birthdays/Xmas ;)
I quite like the blue and yellow dot one.

  8. Is that the 'naif' style?? Love the colours and composition!! Why not set up a blog for her to display her creativity??

  9. Jayne, I'll send you my christmas present wrapped in one.

Naif Red? I like it. I struggle to keep up with my own blog, let alone yours, let alone set up another.

  11. Fen, I prefer to complain to Sister about how messy she is. Once Sister offered to pay to have our carpet cleaned. Of course I declined, but how delicious.
