I have added a new link on my blog. It is to a site called
Fading Victoria. There are some fantastic pictures of old country homes in varying states of decay. I think
Living is Detail will like the site. Note the picture on page one LiD, of an abandoned milkbar in Brunswick. Perhaps you have seen it.

ReplyDeleteAndrew,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to start the week. Fading Victoria is fantastic. You are so right. I love it. I have seen that Brunswick Milkbar and I have a feeling I have taken it's photo quite a while ago when I was using a film camera. That means the photo is hmmm... filed somewhere safe.
I can't believe the milkbar is still there and in the same state. I saw it again just last week and the first time I saw it was probably 7 years ago.
I love old stuff, there are some great photo's there. I always wonder about the history of such places.... if only the walls could talk.
ReplyDeleteLove old buildings. Beautiful....even if they are in Victoria *runs away*
ReplyDeleteInterests me too RH.
ReplyDeleteThought you would like the site LiD.
Yes, talking walls Jo. Births, deaths, marriage, divorce, fights, love, food and drink, children.....
We specialise in fossils Steph.
Oh wow. I've a feeling that site will become my favourite architectural porn.
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking to it, Andrew.
