Quickie #62

Herald Sun columnist Andrew Bolt calls (cut and paste) Sheikh Taj al-Din al-Hilali a fool. I am not foolish enough to call Andrew Bolt a fool and I am very surprised that Bolt calls that Sheikh a fool. You'll go down underestimating people you don't like, but you won't go so far wrong by overestimating them.

  1. that's why i don't read the herald sun. some of its writers are ignorant enough to make these kind of assumptions.

it angers me that the herald sun is so widely read.

  2. I don't read it either (with the exception of yesterday as there was an article relating to trams). It also pains me that it's so widely read and I'm suprised nobody has actually invited Mr Bolt as a guest speaker during the Comedy Festival.

  3. So many times his dodgy statistics and interpretations have been called in to question and yet people read him and take what he says as truth.

  4. Joe Goebbels' lovechild. Mind you rumour has it that Mr and Mrs Joe left Andy Pandy on the doorstep of an orphanage and ran away very quickly.

Thought of describing him as a total wanker, but don't reckon he deserves pleasure of any kind.
